Weekday reserved sections start at $500 in food and beverages, with no separate section rental fee for eligible nonexclusive bookings.

For 8–15 guests, order from the regular menu with no minimum spend. Larger groups can order from the menu against their section minimum, or choose an optional shared menu with a hosted tab or drink tickets.

Optional Hosted Social from $51 per guest: two shareable selections, one entrée selection served buffet or family style, one side, and two selected beer, wine or well-drink tickets per participating adult. Minimum 20 guests; this is a two-ticket package. The applicable section minimum still applies. Tax, service charge and other agreed charges are additional. Final selections and service details are confirmed in your proposal.

How minimum spend & group bookings work

• Weekday offers apply Monday–Thursday, subject to date and section availability. Monday gatherings are by advance arrangement. Holidays and special-event dates may have different minimums.
• Group tables and reserved sections are nonexclusive: other guests, music and scheduled events may be present. Exact seating and guest capacity are confirmed with your proposal.
• Group tables for 8–15 guests have no minimum spend. For reserved sections, eligible food and beverage purchases count toward your minimum. Tax, service charge and any agreed staffing, rental or other charges are additional and do not count toward the minimum.
• If eligible purchases fall below the agreed minimum, the difference is charged. For example, $350 in purchases against a $500 minimum leaves a $150 shortfall.
• Eligible nonexclusive weekday sections have no separate section rental fee. Exclusive spaces and buyouts are quoted separately. Deposit, cancellation, final guest count and extension terms are confirmed before booking.

Corporate events and networking

Plan company happy hours, team dinners, client receptions, networking events, conference gatherings and holiday parties. Food and beverage service can be built around seated meals, shareable plates, cocktail-style receptions, hosted tabs and customized bar service.

Birthdays and celebrations

IGNITE hosts birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, graduations and other social celebrations. Depending on the group, events can use restaurant seating, cocktail-style layouts, patio areas or a larger private format.

Full venue buyouts

Larger events can inquire about full-venue buyouts that bring together the restaurant, bar and patio. Availability, food-and-beverage minimums, staffing and event timing vary by date, so each request is quoted individually.

Food, bar and catering

Event food can be built around IGNITE skewers, wings, bowls and shareable plates, with custom group menus available for selected events. Bar service can include hosted tabs and customized beverage service. Off-site catering and corporate lunch requests are also welcome.

Music, DJs and AV planning

Tell the events team if you need a DJ, presentation screen, sound, outside vendors, branding, load-in time or a specific room setup. These requirements are reviewed during planning so the event format fits the venue and applicable operating requirements.

Near SAP Center and Downtown hotels

The San Pedro Square location is convenient for Downtown offices, hotels, conventions, Sharks games and concerts at SAP Center, making IGNITE useful for pre-event receptions, post-event gatherings and South Bay groups.

Private party space for 20–400 guests

Plan a birthday dinner, engagement celebration, anniversary or private reception in Downtown San Jose. Choose an indoor gathering, a patio party for up to 200 standing guests, or a larger event using the venue for up to 400 guests. Final capacity depends on your layout, service plan and the spaces reserved; a standing limit is not a seated capacity.

A group dinner is a meal arranged for your party; a semi-private gathering may share the venue with other guests. For exclusive use, ask about a private area, patio buyout or full restaurant buyout. Your proposal confirms which areas are reserved, the event hours and the minimum spend.

Choose appetizers for a social reception or a buffet with mains, sides and salads for a fuller meal. Hosted drinks and non-alcoholic options can be quoted alongside the food.

What private events can we host at IGNITE?

IGNITE welcomes birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, corporate gatherings, cocktail receptions and holiday parties. Ask about restaurant seating, patio arrangements, a private area or a full venue buyout based on your date and event format.

How many guests can IGNITE accommodate?

IGNITE can host events of up to 400 guests across the venue, with up to 200 standing guests on the patio. Final capacity depends on the spaces reserved, seating or standing layout, food service and event requirements. Send your headcount and format so the team can confirm a suitable layout; these figures do not mean 400 seated guests.

What is included in the event price?

Food packages start at $32 per guest for lunch and $36 for dinner. Drinks, tax, service charge or gratuity, venue fees and additional staffing or rentals are separate. Your quote itemizes the menu, bar plan, minimum spend and other charges for your date.

How do we book a private event?

Use the inquiry form with your date, start and end time, guest count, budget and food or drink preferences. The team will review availability and provide a proposal with the applicable booking and deposit terms. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve the date.

Food and beverage combos — minimum 20 people

Each combo includes a food package and two hours of hosted drinks at IGNITE. Prices are per participating adult, before tax, service charges and other quoted fees.

Event beverage packages

Two hours of hosted drinks at IGNITE, priced per participating adult. Add to any food menu, or choose a combo above. Minimum 20 people.

Prefer another combination? Pair any food menu with any bar tier. Hosted tabs, drink tickets, a host spending limit and cash bars are also available by arrangement.

• Minimum 20 people. Alcoholic beverage and combo pricing requires at least 20 participating guests age 21 or over.
• One agreed two-hour bar service window for the group; late arrivals do not extend the end time. Packages are for events at IGNITE only.
• No fixed drink-count limit on included selections during the service window. One standard drink per guest at a time; responsible service applies and service may be refused.
• Shots, doubles, pitchers, bottle service, specialty cocktails and drinks outside the agreed selection are excluded unless separately quoted. No sharing or collecting multiple drinks.
• Beer, house wine and spirit selections are agreed before booking, subject to availability. Premium tiers include only the brands listed in your event agreement.
• One beverage tier applies to participating adults. Billing uses the guaranteed participant count or actual participants, whichever is greater.
• Non-drinkers and guests under 21 can be quoted food-only meals with non-alcoholic drinks separately.
• Extra hours cost $10 per participating adult for Beer & Wine or Well Bar, and $15 for Premium or Ultra Premium Bar, with host approval before extension. After the service window, guests pay individually unless the host approves a tab.
• Combo prices include the specified food package and two hours of the specified bar package. Standalone bar prices exclude food. Food is served buffet or family-style unless otherwise quoted.
• Tax, service charge or gratuity, venue fees, rentals and any additional staffing charges are separate and itemized in the event quote. Final menus, counts and service times are confirmed before booking.
